If immersive HDR gaming and media consumption are top priorities and budget isn't a constraint, the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 with its wide color gamut and high contrast ratio is excellent. However, if you're into competitive gaming and need a high refresh rate without breaking the bank, the ViewSonic XG2431 will serve you well, although it falls short in HDR performance. For general productivity and casual use, the ViewSonic's smaller size and lower price make it practical, but for expansive screen real estate and superior image clarity, the Samsung is superior, albeit at a premium.
