If budget is a concern and casual gaming, along with everyday productivity, is your primary use, the LG 34GN850B is a wallet-friendly choice, though it lags behind in HDR gaming and media consumption. However, if you're a serious gamer or content creator who demands top-notch color quality, particularly for HDR content, and are willing to invest more, the MSI MEG 342C offers superior contrast and color performance, making it an excellent option for competitive gaming and professional media work. Keep in mind, the LG's fair performance in certain aspects might be noticeable if you have a keen eye for image and motion quality. Give Feedback

TechSpot

Tim Schiesser | August 2020
"Mid-range 3440 x 1440 144Hz VA monitors are ~$500 to $600 these days. You are getting a much better product for the higher price of the LG, with faster response times and better colors (outside of the contrast ratio), but this is definitely a monitor that is reserved for those that want the best of the best and are willing to pay for it."
