If you prioritize immersive gaming and are willing to invest more, the LG 34GN850B with its larger, ultrawide screen is suitable for a more engrossing experience but isn't the best choice for HDR gaming and media. However, if you want a monitor that's better for a combination of gaming, media consumption, and color-critical work like photo editing without spending as much, the MSI MAG274QRF-QD offers a solid balance with good color accuracy and is even suitable for print photo editing, though it has a smaller standard widescreen. Both have similar refresh rates and are decent for casual gaming, but the MSI might be slightly more responsive for competitive gaming. Give Feedback

How the LG 34GN850B (IPS) and the MSI MAG274QRF-QD (IPS) compare to other monitors
"Mid-range 3440 x 1440 144Hz VA monitors are ~$500 to $600 these days. You are getting a much better product for the higher price of the LG, with faster response times and better colors (outside of the contrast ratio), but this is definitely a monitor that is reserved for those that want the best of the best and are willing to pay for it."
"The MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD has the largest color gamut we’ve ever seen and near-perfect out-of-box accuracy. sRGB content will be oversaturated though, and HDR doesn’t do anything for image quality."
