If you're focused on fast-paced gaming and want a monitor that handles motion well without spending too much, the LG 27GP83B with its good refresh rate and response time is an excellent choice. However, if you prioritize image quality, especially in dark scenes, and you're willing to invest more, the ViewSonic XG341C-2K with its superior contrast might be the better pick. The ViewSonic's larger screen and aspect ratio are also more immersive for media consumption, but its lower refresh rate may not be as suited for competitive gaming as the LG.
