If you're into competitive gaming and want deep blacks and strong contrast, the KTC M27T20 with its VA panel and MiniLED backlight is the better option, and it's also suitable for HDR gaming and media consumption. However, if you prefer a wider screen for productivity and an ultrawide aspect ratio, the LG 34GN850B would be ideal, although its performance in gaming may not be as smooth, and it's not as well-suited for HDR content. The KTC model also offers a higher peak brightness but keep in mind the LG has a larger screen which can be more immersive for gaming and multitasking. Give Feedback

Notebook Check

Allen Ngo | March 2024
"The KTC M27T20 brings mini-LED and HDR1000 features to much more affordable price levels than before. It cuts some corners, however, and the settings require a lot of tuning for optimal colors and black levels."

TechSpot

Tim Schiesser | August 2020
"Mid-range 3440 x 1440 144Hz VA monitors are ~$500 to $600 these days. You are getting a much better product for the higher price of the LG, with faster response times and better colors (outside of the contrast ratio), but this is definitely a monitor that is reserved for those that want the best of the best and are willing to pay for it."
