The Innocn 27M2V offers a sharp 4K resolution which is excellent for productivity and media consumption, with strong HDR performance for gaming and watching videos. It shows colors well, making it suitable for photo editing. While good for casual gaming with its variable refresh rate, it's not the top pick for competitive gaming due to relatively slower response times. In contrast, the ViewSonic XG272 excels in competitive gaming with its higher refresh rate and virtually instant response, offering less ghosting and better motion clarity. However, it has a lower 2K resolution and isn't as bright, which can affect HDR performance and overall image clarity. If your priority is gaming, especially competitive, and can afford the higher cost, the ViewSonic might serve you better, but for mixed uses including productivity and high-quality HDR media, the Innocn provides a compelling option at a somewhat lower price point. Display Ninja

Rob Shafer | January 2024
"Thanks to the wide color gamut, games and videos will look even more vibrant than the standard wide gamut displays (such as LG’s Nano IPS with 98% DCI-P3 and ~90% Adobe RGB, for instance), especially when it comes to blue, cyan and green shades. All in all, if you want a 27″ 4K high refresh rate gaming monitor with a mini LED FALD backlight, the Innocn 27M2V is currently the best model available."
