If you're on a tighter budget and need a solid all-around monitor for digital photo editing and print photo editing, the Gigabyte M27Q-X IPS is a strong choice. It's less costly and offers good text clarity and image clarity. However, the LG 27GR95QE W-OLED, while more expensive, provides superior contrast, making it excellent for HDR gaming and media consumption. If competitive gaming is your focus and you want the best experience, the LG's response time and color performance shine. Though both are suitable for casual gaming, for the highest quality HDR content and a more immersive gaming session, the LG is the better, albeit more costly, option. Give Feedback

PC Mag

Zachery Cuevas | August 2022
"The company delivers again with the Gigabyte M27Q X, a 1440p monitor that comes equipped with just about everything you want and need from a gaming monitor. It may not be a 4K panel, but it more than makes up for its lower resolution in performance, bringing a whopping 240Hz refresh rate and a host of unusual features, including an onboard KVM and plenty of ports. It's a great performer, though low brightness levels and a so-so contrast ratio keep it short of top marks."

PC Gamer

Jorge Jimenez | March 2023
"The LG 27GR95QE-B is a stellar display that makes 1440p again the PC gaming sweet spot due to its high 240Hz refresh rate and fantastic latency. However, its low overall brightness and lack of onboard settings keep it from being great."
