If deep blacks and vibrant colors are important to you and you're focused on high-quality gaming and media consumption, the Gigabyte FO27Q3 (QD-OLED) offers excellent performance for HDR gaming and color-critical work like photo editing. However, it is more expensive. On the other hand, the LG 34GN850B (IPS) provides a wider screen for enhanced productivity and is more budget-friendly, but it won’t deliver the same level of contrast and color performance for gaming or media. Keep in mind that while the Gigabyte excels in refresh rates for smooth gameplay, the text clarity and overall resolution might not be as sharp as the LG for desktop productivity tasks. TechSpot

Tim Schiesser | August 2020
"Mid-range 3440 x 1440 144Hz VA monitors are ~$500 to $600 these days. You are getting a much better product for the higher price of the LG, with faster response times and better colors (outside of the contrast ratio), but this is definitely a monitor that is reserved for those that want the best of the best and are willing to pay for it."
