If competitive gaming is a priority and you're looking for a monitor that responds quickly with high refresh rates, the Gigabyte FI32Q-X would serve you well and save you some money. However, for a more immersive gaming and media experience with a wider screen, albeit at a higher price, the LG 34GP83A with its ultrawide aspect ratio could be a better option. Also, consider if picture quality when editing digital photos is important to you, both monitors are suitable, but the Gigabyte edges out slightly in color accuracy.
