If cost is your main concern and you need a monitor that's decent for productivity as well as casual gaming, the Dell S2721QS with its IPS panel will serve you well. However, if you're willing to invest in the best image quality for HDR gaming and media consumption and do not mind that it's not as well-suited for competitive gaming or high refresh rate interests, the LG 27EP950 with its OLED panel offers significantly better contrast and color performance.
