If you're looking for value and solid all-around performance, the Dell S2721DGF offers a good balance for productivity and casual gaming with a more budget-friendly price tag. It has a high refresh rate ideal for smooth gameplay and is suitable for digital photo editing given its color gamut coverage. However, if your preference leans towards a more immersive experience with a wider screen for multitasking and media consumption, the LG 34GN850B with its ultrawide format could be better, though it comes at a higher cost and might not be as well-suited for color-critical work. Neither option is optimal for HDR gaming and media due to their lower HDR peak brightness levels. Give Feedback

Tom's Hardware

Christian Eberle | January 2021
"The Dell S2721DGF checks all the boxes for an upper-mid priced display that can take on the best gaming monitors, and you might even be able to find it for under $500 (it's $450-$500 as of writing). The monitor's 1440p, runs at 165 Hz without overclock, has AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync Compatibility, covers a large portion of the DCI-P3 color gamut and includes a lighting effect on the back."

TechSpot

Tim Schiesser | August 2020
"Mid-range 3440 x 1440 144Hz VA monitors are ~$500 to $600 these days. You are getting a much better product for the higher price of the LG, with faster response times and better colors (outside of the contrast ratio), but this is definitely a monitor that is reserved for those that want the best of the best and are willing to pay for it."
