If you're into competitive gaming, the Dell AW2524H will offer you an excellent experience due to its high refresh rate and low response time, enhancing fast-paced gameplay. However, its smaller screen and lower resolution might limit your field of view and detail in games. Conversely, the LG 34GN850B delivers a more immersive experience for productivity and media consumption with its larger, ultrawide screen and higher resolution, providing more workspace and crisper images. The tradeoff comes with a lower refresh rate and response time, which might not be as suitable for high-level competitive gaming. Both offer IPS panels for good color accuracy, but neither excels in HDR gaming and media consumption. Give Feedback

Tom's Hardware

Christian Eberle | March 2023
"If you have the system for it, the Alienware AW2524H is the perfect display to show off next level frame rates and control response. With higher contrast and color volume than its 360 Hz competition, it currently has no equal."

TechSpot

Tim Schiesser | August 2020
"Mid-range 3440 x 1440 144Hz VA monitors are ~$500 to $600 these days. You are getting a much better product for the higher price of the LG, with faster response times and better colors (outside of the contrast ratio), but this is definitely a monitor that is reserved for those that want the best of the best and are willing to pay for it."
