If competitive gaming is your priority and you want the highest refresh rates with the least ghosting, the Dell AW2524H offers an excellent experience. However, for a larger, higher-resolution display suitable for sharper text, better image clarity, and digital photo editing, the Gigabyte M27Q-X provides a better balance for productivity and casual gaming at a more affordable price. Neither is ideal for HDR gaming or media consumption due to their limited peak brightness in HDR. Choose the Dell for fast-paced gaming performance, or the Gigabyte for a well-rounded monitor that excels in productivity and casual gaming at a better value. Give Feedback

Tom's Hardware

Christian Eberle | March 2023
"If you have the system for it, the Alienware AW2524H is the perfect display to show off next level frame rates and control response. With higher contrast and color volume than its 360 Hz competition, it currently has no equal."

PC Mag

Zachery Cuevas | August 2022
"The company delivers again with the Gigabyte M27Q X, a 1440p monitor that comes equipped with just about everything you want and need from a gaming monitor. It may not be a 4K panel, but it more than makes up for its lower resolution in performance, bringing a whopping 240Hz refresh rate and a host of unusual features, including an onboard KVM and plenty of ports. It's a great performer, though low brightness levels and a so-so contrast ratio keep it short of top marks."
