If you prioritize a premium gaming experience with exceptional contrast and colors, particularly for HDR gaming, the Dell Alienware with its QD-OLED panel is worth the higher cost. However, the MSI with its IPS panel is better for print photo editing and offers good gaming and general use at a more affordable price. The Dell's OLED technology offers deeper blacks and a wider color range, making it superior for media consumption, while the MSI is more versatile for various tasks such as productivity and has a matte screen which is better for reducing glare. PC Gamer

Jeremy Laird | May 2023
"It may seem like a minor tweak, but the addition of a glossy anti-glare coating makes all the difference. It really lets the OLED panel rip. That this revised "F" model is also cheaper than the OG Alienware OLED and the similarly glossy Philips competition seals the deal. This is our new favourite among the OLED monitor massive."

Tom's Hardware

Christian Eberle | April 2021
"The MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD has the largest color gamut we’ve ever seen and near-perfect out-of-box accuracy. sRGB content will be oversaturated though, and HDR doesn’t do anything for image quality."
