If you prioritize a top-notch gaming experience with superior contrast, brightness, and color quality for both gaming and media, the Dell Alienware AW3423DW (QD-OLED) is worth the investment despite its higher price. However, if your budget is more constrained and you need a monitor that is fairly adequate for casual gaming, productivity, and media consumption without the premium features, the LG 34GN850B (IPS) is a more cost-effective choice, although it won't deliver the same level of performance for HDR content and has lower contrast and color fidelity compared to the Dell. TechSpot

Tim Schiesser | August 2020
"Mid-range 3440 x 1440 144Hz VA monitors are ~$500 to $600 these days. You are getting a much better product for the higher price of the LG, with faster response times and better colors (outside of the contrast ratio), but this is definitely a monitor that is reserved for those that want the best of the best and are willing to pay for it."
