If you're a competitive gamer looking for the best experience with a higher refresh rate and lower response time, the premium-priced Asus XB273U F is an excellent choice but won't offer the best value for everyday productivity or casual media consumption. In contrast, the MSI G274QPF-QD is far more affordable and still delivers good gaming performance, but its capabilities for competitive gaming won't match the Asus. Both are suitable for digital photo editing, but if HDR gaming and media consumption are important to you, neither of these monitors is optimal as their HDR peak brightness and color volume are not ideal for that purpose.
