The Asus XB273U F (IPS) performs exceptionally for competitive gaming with a high refresh rate and rapid response time, making fast-paced action smoother. This monitor has good color accuracy for digital photo editing but is not suitable for HDR gaming or media consumption. On the other hand, the Gigabyte FO32U2P (QD-OLED) offers superior image quality and contrast with its larger 4K screen, excelling in media consumption and HDR gaming. Its color performance is great for digital and print photo editing and HDR video editing. However, its refresh rate and response time, while very good, are not the best in class like the Asus, which may not be as optimal for highly competitive gaming. If you prioritize immersive visuals for productivity and entertainment, the Gigabyte might be worth the extra cost, but if high-level gaming performance is more important, then you might lean toward the Asus.
