If you prioritize a competitive gaming experience with higher refresh rates and minimal ghosting, the Asus monitor would be a better choice, however, it's not ideal for HDR gaming or media consumption due to its lower HDR brightness and contrast. On the other hand, if you want richer colors with infinite contrast for more compelling HDR gaming and media, the LG with its OLED panel is superior, though with a slightly higher price and lower refresh rate, it may not be as optimal for fast-paced competitive gaming. Neither is the best for productivity or professional photo editing, but they're adequate for general use. Give Feedback

IGN

Matthew Smith | March 2023
"The Asus ROG Swift PG27AQN is a motion clarity marvel. It’s the first 27-inch 1440p 360Hz monitor on the market, and also the first to use an Ultrafast IPS display. These advancements provide outstanding motion clarity across a broad range of refresh rates. Unfortunately, the monitor’s motion clarity does nothing for its image quality, which is just ok. To be clear, it’s a very nice looking monitor in many situations. However, the monitor’s contrast ratio is rather low. And while it can reach high levels of brightness in HDR, it lacks the nuance and contrast required to look great in HDR games."

PC Gamer

Jorge Jimenez | March 2023
"The LG 27GR95QE-B is a stellar display that makes 1440p again the PC gaming sweet spot due to its high 240Hz refresh rate and fantastic latency. However, its low overall brightness and lack of onboard settings keep it from being great."
