If you're a competitive gamer looking for top performance, the Asus PG27AQN offers higher refresh rates and quicker response times, giving you an edge in fast-paced games. However, it's pricier and less suited for high-quality media consumption due to its lower HDR peak brightness. Conversely, the Dell S2522HG is more affordable and still delivers very good gaming capabilities, but with a smaller screen and lower resolution, it's less ideal for productivity tasks or detailed gaming. Both offer good color coverage for casual content creation, but the Asus has a slight edge if you're dabbling in more color-sensitive work. Choose Asus for competitive gaming superiority or Dell for budget-conscious gaming with decent performance. Give Feedback

IGN

Matthew Smith | March 2023
"The Asus ROG Swift PG27AQN is a motion clarity marvel. It’s the first 27-inch 1440p 360Hz monitor on the market, and also the first to use an Ultrafast IPS display. These advancements provide outstanding motion clarity across a broad range of refresh rates. Unfortunately, the monitor’s motion clarity does nothing for its image quality, which is just ok. To be clear, it’s a very nice looking monitor in many situations. However, the monitor’s contrast ratio is rather low. And while it can reach high levels of brightness in HDR, it lacks the nuance and contrast required to look great in HDR games."

IGN

Matthew Smith | February 2022
"The Dell S2522HG changes the game. This 24.5-inch 1080p gaming monitor has a 240Hz refresh rate, yet it’s commonly sold for $249.99. That’s just tens of dollars more than an average 1080p 144Hz gaming monitor. The S2522HG cuts a few corners in its pursuit of pricing, but it’s a great choice for competitive gamers on a budget."
