If you prioritize a top-tier gaming experience with exceptional contrast and responsiveness, the Asus PG27AQDM (W-OLED) stands out, especially for HDR gaming and media consumption. However, it falls short in productivity tasks where image clarity and text quality are crucial. On the other hand, the LG 34GN850B (IPS) is typically much less expensive, provides a larger 34-inch screen with an ultra-wide aspect ratio, making it better suited for multitasking and productivity. Still, it doesn't match the Asus's performance in gaming and doesn't support true HDR content as well. Choose the Asus if gaming is your focus and you're willing to invest more, or the LG if you seek a balance of cost and an enhanced productivity workspace. Give Feedback

"It’s hard to find any fault with the Asus ROG Swift PG27AQDM. Yes it’s expensive, but it’s incredibly good. With a stunning image and next-level video performance, it’s one of the very best gaming monitors I’ve ever reviewed."

TechSpot

Tim Schiesser | August 2020
"Mid-range 3440 x 1440 144Hz VA monitors are ~$500 to $600 these days. You are getting a much better product for the higher price of the LG, with faster response times and better colors (outside of the contrast ratio), but this is definitely a monitor that is reserved for those that want the best of the best and are willing to pay for it."
