If you prioritize exceptional text clarity and image sharpness for productivity tasks or digital photo editing, the Apple Studio Display is an excellent choice, yet it's at a premium price and doesn't cater well to gaming. On the other hand, if you're looking for a more affordable, versatile monitor that's decent for casual and competitive gaming due to its better refresh rate and variable refresh rate support, as well as fair performance in productivity, the LG 34GN850B would serve you well, though it doesn't offer the same level of image clarity and has a lower resolution. The LG’s wider screen and aspect ratio can also be better for multitasking and immersive media consumption, but it's not suitable for critical color work. Give Feedback

TechSpot

Tim Schiesser | August 2020
"Mid-range 3440 x 1440 144Hz VA monitors are ~$500 to $600 these days. You are getting a much better product for the higher price of the LG, with faster response times and better colors (outside of the contrast ratio), but this is definitely a monitor that is reserved for those that want the best of the best and are willing to pay for it."
