If you prioritize outstanding image clarity and need a monitor that's exceptional for productivity as well as HDR video editing, the Apple Pro Display XDR is an excellent choice. Its screen size and high resolution will provide you with crisp and detailed images, making it also suitable for high-end print photo editing. However, if you're focused on a monitor that offers the best possible colors for casual gaming and media consumption, with top-tier contrast and minimal ghosting for smooth visuals, the LG 32EP950 might be the better pick. That said, the LG's overall productivity performance isn't as strong, and its text clarity isn't as great as the Apple's due to its lower resolution. Both monitors aren't ideal for competitive gaming due to lower refresh rates and lack of certain gaming features. Choose the Apple if your work and leisure demand the highest resolution and text clarity, or the LG if color accuracy in gaming and watching videos is your main concern. Give Feedback

PC Mag

Chris Stobing | February 2020
"Apple's Pro Display XDR provides exceptional color accuracy and build quality at a price that's quite competitive with those of reference-grade pro monitors. It's exquisite enough that swallowing the wildly extravagant cost of its Pro Stand is worth it."

TFT Central

Simon Baker | May 2021
"This screen is aimed at professional users, content creation and HDR video production. The OLED panel offers really great picture quality with bright, vivid colours, true deep blacks and infinite contrast ratio for SDR and HDR. The semi-glossy screen coating does add to the picture quality and feel of the screen as well."
