If you prioritize a large screen and sharper images for tasks like digital photo editing, the Acer XB323U-GX with its larger and higher resolution display could be the better choice. However, if budget is a concern and you mainly engage in competitive gaming, the Dell S2522HG offers a very good refresh rate and excellent response time which is ideal for fast-paced games, without the higher cost. Both monitors have good color accuracy, but the Acer might be more suitable if you also do print photo editing. Neither of these monitors is the best for HDR gaming and media consumption.
