The Acer X27U offers an exceptional gaming experience with outstanding color depth, high contrast, and high resolution, making it suitable for HDR gaming and media consumption. It shines in competitive gaming due to its very responsive screen with minimal ghosting. However, it falls short in productivity tasks due to lower brightness when compared to some other options. Conversely, the LG 34GN850B, while less expensive, provides a larger screen and good quality for productivity and media with a fair resolution and color accuracy, but it's less suitable for competitive gaming due to a slower response time and lower refresh rate. If budget is less of a concern and you prioritize gaming performance and HDR content, the Acer is a solid choice, otherwise, for balanced use and a tighter budget, consider the LG. Give Feedback

TechSpot

Tim Schiesser | August 2020
"Mid-range 3440 x 1440 144Hz VA monitors are ~$500 to $600 these days. You are getting a much better product for the higher price of the LG, with faster response times and better colors (outside of the contrast ratio), but this is definitely a monitor that is reserved for those that want the best of the best and are willing to pay for it."
