If competitive gaming is a priority and you're on a tighter budget, the Acer X27U with its higher refresh rate and very good competitive gaming experience would be an excellent choice. However, if you're focused on productivity and media consumption and prefer a sharper image with higher resolution, the Asus PA27DCE offers more clarity and is better suited for tasks that benefit from its higher pixels per inch, although it comes at a higher price point. Both have OLED technology which provides great color depth and contrast, making them ideal for HDR gaming and media, but keep in mind the Asus offers a wider color gamut, making it better for digital photo editing.
