If you're looking for a laptop mainly for gaming or high-performance tasks, the MSI Thin GF63 offers stronger graphics and better processing power which suits these activities well, but it may have shorter battery life and could be less portable than the Lenovo. On the other hand, if your priority is a laptop for general use, business tasks, or you require something lighter with a longer battery life for mobility, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s might be the better option despite its potentially less powerful hardware; it is typically more affordable as well. The MSI Thin GF63 has a better screen than the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s has a better screen for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The MSI Thin GF63's screen may not offer the vivid colors and sharpness that general users and professionals in engineering and design might prefer due to its average resolution and brightness, resulting in a fair quality experience for those tasks. The Lenovo ThinkBook 13s, with better resolution and higher brightness, provides clear and vibrant visuals, making it more suitable for general use and detailed work in engineering and design. However, both laptops lack high refresh rates, which diminishes the quality for gaming and 3D applications where smooth motion is crucial for an immersive experience.

How the MSI Thin GF63 and the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s compare to other laptops
"The MSI GF63 Thin 11SC can be an admirable value for gamers and power users on a minimal budget. For just $599 as reviewed in its base model, its Intel Core i5 H-class processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics perform much better than low-wattage CPUs and integrated graphics. That said, this is a light-class gaming laptop. Low scores in our demanding gaming benchmarks indicate using lower visual-quality settings will be required for playable performance."
"The best thing about the ThinkBook 13S is that it’s a good deal. Business buyers looking for ThinkPad-level performance and software without ThinkPad pricing will probably find the ThinkBook a solid option. While nothing about it is really spectacular, it’s certainly unusual to see the ThinkBook’s screen resolution at a sub-$1,000 price, and its performance will be more than adequate for most office tasks. The generous port selection, 16:10 aspect ratio, physical webcam shutter, and clear audio are certainly icing on the cake."
