If you're looking for affordability, the MSI Thin GF63 is generally less costly than the Razer Blade 18 and should serve well for everyday tasks and moderate gaming. However, the Razer Blade 18 offers superior performance suitable for more demanding applications, like 3D rendering or high-end gaming, but at a higher price. The MSI is more portable due to its lightweight design, which may benefit those who often carry their laptop around. On the other hand, the Razer Blade has a larger screen and possibly better build quality, enhancing the viewing experience and durability at the expense of increased weight and size. Your choice should depend on your primary needs: if budget and portability are key, go with the MSI, but if you need top performance for demanding tasks and a bigger display, and don't mind the additional cost, the Razer Blade 18 is the better option. Tom's Hardware

Charles Jeffries | November 2022
"The MSI GF63 Thin 11SC can be an admirable value for gamers and power users on a minimal budget. For just $599 as reviewed in its base model, its Intel Core i5 H-class processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics perform much better than low-wattage CPUs and integrated graphics. That said, this is a light-class gaming laptop. Low scores in our demanding gaming benchmarks indicate using lower visual-quality settings will be required for playable performance."

PCMag

Matthew Buzzi | March 2023
"Razer made a powerful laptop in the Blade 18, showing off a beautiful and fast display and the same high-quality build we’ve come to expect from this product line. It’s also quite expensive, which is hardly a surprise, but bears repeating even in this price range. It’s pricier than the Scar 18 despite an inferior GPU and half the storage, so you really have to want the Blade 18’s design to justify the cost."
