The MSI Summit E16 Flip is often significantly less expensive and has a competitive display, touch capability, and a respectable battery life, making it suitable for general use and light engineering tasks. On the other hand, the Razer Blade 17, while typically more expensive, offers a more powerful processor, higher-end graphics card, and more RAM, which translates into better performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and intensive gaming. It also has a larger, higher-resolution screen, but this comes at the cost of a shorter battery life and decreased portability due to its larger size and heavier weight. Choose the MSI if you prioritize value and portability with moderate performance needs, or the Razer if you seek top-tier performance and can manage a higher price and reduced mobility. NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | October 2022
"The MSI Summit E16 Flip is a 2-in-1 laptop with pen, 16:10 display, and RTX 3050 Ti. The Summit E16 Flip is a 2-in-1 laptop from the business segment that primarily targets creative users. MSI combines a 16-inch touchscreen in the 16:10 format with a powerful midrange GPU. While the 2-in-1 laptop from MSI isn't meant for everybody, it should definitely attract some followers. The touchscreen display (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) covers the DCI-P3 color space. This is accompanied by stable viewing angles, a good color reproduction, short response times, and a good contrast level."

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | July 2022
"Our test configuration of the Blade 17 targets gamers and creative professionals. A Core i9-12900H processor, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU (175 watts TGP after the BIOS update, 16 GB of VRAM), and 32 GB of working memory equip the laptop for video processing, rending, and 4k gaming at the highest level. In addition, a fast PCIe-4 SSD (1 TB) ensures short load and storage times. With the Blade 17 (Early 2022), Razer delivers a successful and powerful work device for creative professionals. But this also has its price."
