The MSI Stealth GS77 is more expensive and offers higher performance for tasks like 3D design, machine learning, and gaming, thanks to its advanced processor and dedicated graphics card. With a larger screen and higher refresh rate, it’s also suitable for intensive gaming. However, it's heavier, making it less portable. The Lenovo ThinkBook 13s is much more affordable, lighter, and has a longer battery life, making it very portable and suitable for general use, but its performance for demanding tasks is lower due to a less powerful processor and integrated graphics. The ThinkBook also has a smaller screen, which might not be ideal for detailed engineering work or gaming. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS77 is good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s is only fair.
The MSI Stealth GS77 stands out in gaming and 3D tasks because it's equipped with a powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics unit and has a high screen refresh rate, which are very important for smooth and detailed visuals in fast-paced games and 3D applications. In contrast, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s, with its considerably less powerful Intel Iris Xe graphics and lower refresh rate, offers fair performance that's adequate for less demanding gaming and 3D tasks, but falls short for enthusiasts or professionals seeking top-tier graphic fidelity and fluid motion.

The MSI Stealth GS77 is very good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s is good.
The MSI Stealth GS77 typically comes with a higher-end CPU, more RAM, and a more powerful GPU than the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s, making it more suitable for demanding engineering applications that require heavy computation and graphics processing; it also generally has a better-quality screen, which aids in detailed design work. However, the ThinkBook 13s offers greater portability due to its smaller size and weight, and it still maintains adequate performance for less intensive tasks, along with a good quality keyboard and less operating noise, which might be preferable for users who prioritize mobility and a quieter working environment.

The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The MSI Stealth GS77's display offers high resolution and brightness, making it suitable for general use and engineering tasks which require vivid and accurate colors. However, for gaming and 3D work, despite its decent resolution and panel quality, the laptop's lower refresh rate would not be as responsive as gamers and 3D artists need for optimal experience. In contrast, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s provides sufficient resolution and brightness for general use and accurate color representation needed in engineering and design, but similarly falls short for gaming and 3D purposes due to an inadequate refresh rate.

How the MSI Stealth GS77 and the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s compare to other laptops
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
"The best thing about the ThinkBook 13S is that it’s a good deal. Business buyers looking for ThinkPad-level performance and software without ThinkPad pricing will probably find the ThinkBook a solid option. While nothing about it is really spectacular, it’s certainly unusual to see the ThinkBook’s screen resolution at a sub-$1,000 price, and its performance will be more than adequate for most office tasks. The generous port selection, 16:10 aspect ratio, physical webcam shutter, and clear audio are certainly icing on the cake."
