The MSI Stealth GS77 is usually a bit less expensive and has slightly better battery life than the Razer Blade 18, which might matter if you're often on the go. The Razer Blade 18, however, offers a more powerful main processor and GPU, considerably brighter screen, and superior heat management, making it better suited for movie watching and intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming. Both have robust build quality, ample storage, and RAM, but if portability and battery are less of a concern and you want top-tier performance for demanding software or games, the Razer may justify the higher cost. NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | April 2022
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."

PCMag

Matthew Buzzi | March 2023
"Razer made a powerful laptop in the Blade 18, showing off a beautiful and fast display and the same high-quality build we’ve come to expect from this product line. It’s also quite expensive, which is hardly a surprise, but bears repeating even in this price range. It’s pricier than the Scar 18 despite an inferior GPU and half the storage, so you really have to want the Blade 18’s design to justify the cost."
