The MSI Stealth GS77 is designed for high performance and gaming with its powerful processor and graphics card, making it suitable for intensive tasks like 3D work, machine learning, and engineering software. Its larger screen size and higher resolution enhance these activities but also make it heavier and less portable. The Packard Bell Cloudbook 14" is more budget-friendly with modest specifications, ideal for everyday use such as web browsing, document editing, and streaming, and it boasts longer battery life and is lighter, which increases its portability. If your priority is performance for demanding tasks, the MSI Stealth GS77 is the better choice despite its higher cost and lower portability, while the Packard Bell Cloudbook 14" is more cost-effective for general use and easier to carry around. The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the Packard Bell Cloudbook 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The MSI Stealth GS77 offers a sharp, bright display with high resolution, which enhances the viewing experience for general use and detailed work in engineering and design, while its comprehensive color gamut coverage ensures accurate color representation for professional creative tasks. However, the lower refresh rate limits the smoothness of motion which is crucial for an immersive gaming experience, particularly in fast-paced 3D games. In contrast, the Packard Bell Cloudbook 14" likely has a lower resolution and subpar brightness, making it less suitable across the board, with muted colors and possibly an insufficient refresh rate, which impact the clarity and vibrancy for all use cases.

"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
