If you prioritize saving money and desire a lighter, more portable laptop for daily tasks or travel, the MSI Stealth GS77 would be the better choice. However, if your work involves more demanding applications like 3D modeling, machine learning, or high-end gaming, and you are okay with spending more for top-notch performance, then the MSI Titan 18 HX, despite being heavier and less portable, would serve you better. Keep in mind that the high-performance option may also have shorter battery life due to its more powerful components. Give Feedback

The MSI Titan 18 HX is best in class for engineering and design, while the MSI Stealth GS77 is very good.
The MSI Stealth GS77, with its high-quality CPU, ample RAM, and good GPU, excels in engineering tasks, and its screen displays crisp images; however, the more powerful MSI Titan 18 HX surpasses it with an even better CPU, more RAM, superior GPU, and exceptional screen quality, making it ideal for the most demanding engineering and design work. While the Stealth GS77 offers greater portability and less operating noise, the Titan focuses on performance at the expense of being bulkier and potentially louder, which might be a trade-off worth considering for power-intensive users.

The MSI Titan 18 HX has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS77 for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The MSI Stealth GS77's screen, with its high resolution and brightness, provides sharp and vibrant visuals that are ideal for general activities and detailed work in engineering and design due to its wide color gamut. However, its lower refresh rate hampers the gaming or 3D modeling experience, where fluid motion is key. The MSI Titan 18 HX offers even wider color coverage and superior resolution and brightness, enhancing its suitability for both general use and professional design tasks, but like the GS77, the refresh rate isn't optimal for high-speed gaming or 3D work where screen responsiveness is crucial.

How the MSI Stealth GS77 and the MSI Titan 18 HX compare to other laptops
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
"With no new Nvidia GPU this year for laptops, MSI had to refresh everything surrounding the graphics card to make up for it. Users are getting a new 18-inch chassis design, new 14th gen Intel HX CPU, new AC adapter, larger keys, and a new 120 Hz HDR1000 mini-LED 4K display to accompany the high price tag. Most of these changes are a step up from last year's GT77, but users are ultimately getting the same gaming performance out of both models."
