The MSI Stealth GS77 is more expensive but offers superior performance, making it well-suited for intensive engineering tasks, 3D rendering, and gaming due to a better GPU and more RAM. Its larger 17.3-inch screen provides a bigger workspace but reduces portability with its higher weight. The MSI Summit E16 Flip, being less expensive with a 16-inch touchscreen, may appeal to those who prioritize portability and versatility, especially in a business context. It is also more suitable for general use with a longer battery life, though it delivers less power for demanding applications like machine learning or 3D rendering due to its smaller RAM and less powerful GPU. The MSI Stealth GS77 is good for gaming and AI, while the MSI Summit E16 Flip is only fair.
The MSI Stealth GS77 excels in gaming and 3D tasks due to its more powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU and higher screen refresh rate, making it well-suited for fast-paced action and detailed visuals. On the other hand, the MSI Summit E16 Flip, although good for gaming and 3D with its Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU, has a lower refresh rate, but offers added versatility with its 2-in-1 convertible design and touch screen, trading off some performance for adaptability and a higher pixel density display.

The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the MSI Summit E16 Flip for gaming and AI, software development, and content creation.
For general use, both the MSI Stealth GS77 and MSI Summit E16 Flip offer high-resolution displays with good color vibrancy and brightness, making text, images, and videos look crisp and clear. Their wide color gamuts give professionals in engineering and design the color fidelity required for precise work, allowing accurate representation of nuanced hues. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops fall short due to their lower refresh rates, which could lead to less smooth motion and responsiveness, which are crucial for an immersive gaming experience.

How the MSI Stealth GS77 and the MSI Summit E16 Flip compare to other laptops
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
"The MSI Summit E16 Flip is a 2-in-1 laptop with pen, 16:10 display, and RTX 3050 Ti. The Summit E16 Flip is a 2-in-1 laptop from the business segment that primarily targets creative users. MSI combines a 16-inch touchscreen in the 16:10 format with a powerful midrange GPU. While the 2-in-1 laptop from MSI isn't meant for everybody, it should definitely attract some followers. The touchscreen display (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) covers the DCI-P3 color space. This is accompanied by stable viewing angles, a good color reproduction, short response times, and a good contrast level."
