The MSI Stealth GS66 is a high-performance gaming laptop with a premium price, offering top-tier gaming and engineering capabilities thanks to its Intel i7-12700H processor and Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU. It's built for those who need a powerful machine for demanding tasks and gaming, with a fast 360Hz refresh rate screen that's excellent for gaming. However, it's heavier and less portable, with a bulkier design and shorter battery life compared to the Samsung.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16 is a midrange priced, versatile 2-in-1 laptop with a focus on portability and battery life. Its Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite X1E84 processor and Adreno 750 GPU are suitable for general use and light gaming, and its OLED touchscreen with a high resolution of 2880 x 1800 offers vibrant colors and deep blacks, making it great for media consumption and everyday tasks. It's also lighter, thinner, and has a longer battery life, but it may not handle intensive engineering tasks or high-end gaming as well as the MSI.
If you prioritize performance for gaming and engineering tasks and don't mind a heavier, less portable laptop with a higher price tag, the MSI Stealth GS66 is the way to go. However, if you value portability, battery life, and a versatile 2-in-1 design for general use and light gaming, and you're willing to compromise on raw power, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16 is a more suitable choice. How the MSI Stealth GS66 and the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge 16 compare to other laptops
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
