The MSI Stealth GS66 offers good portability, satisfactory for general use and gaming, with strong performance in engineering applications at a somewhat lower price. It is lighter and has a smaller screen compared to the Razer Blade 18, which might appeal to those who prioritize mobility. However, the Razer Blade 18, with its larger and higher-resolution display, superior processor, and more robust graphics card, delivers significantly better performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and intensive gaming despite being heavier and pricier; its larger battery doesn't translate to longer battery life due to more power-hungry components. Both have high-quality keyboards and build, but the Razer Blade 18 pulls ahead with its exceptional screen color quality and motion handling, making it a better choice for users who also value multimedia consumption and creative work. The Razer Blade 18 is excellent for engineering and design, while the MSI Stealth GS66 is very good.
The Razer Blade 18 outperforms the MSI Stealth GS66 for engineering and design use due to its superior main processor, double the RAM, and a more powerful GPU, which are very important for such tasks, along with a higher resolution and color-accurate larger screen. While the Stealth GS66 is more portable and emits less operating noise, the Blade 18 has a higher quality keyboard and speakers, though it is heavier and not as easy to carry around.

The Razer Blade 18 has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS66 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The MSI Stealth GS66, with its good panel quality, provides adequate resolution and brightness which makes it suitable for everyday tasks and professional design work, although its color gamut coverage may fall short for discerning design professionals. The Razer Blade 18, featuring a screen with higher resolution and enhanced brightness, offers a more vibrant and detailed display, along with superior color accuracy which caters well to both general and engineering/design users. However, both laptops may not satisfy gamers or those working with 3D applications due to their lower refresh rates, which can impact the smoothness and responsiveness of fast-paced visuals.

"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
"Razer made a powerful laptop in the Blade 18, showing off a beautiful and fast display and the same high-quality build we’ve come to expect from this product line. It’s also quite expensive, which is hardly a surprise, but bears repeating even in this price range. It’s pricier than the Scar 18 despite an inferior GPU and half the storage, so you really have to want the Blade 18’s design to justify the cost."
