If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option that's easier to carry around, the MSI Stealth GS66 will serve you well for general use and moderate gaming or engineering work. However, if your work involves complex 3D rendering, machine learning, or heavy-duty gaming and you're not as concerned about portability or spending more, the MSI Titan 18 HX offers superior performance and likely a larger display, which could enhance those experiences but may have a shorter battery life due to its power demands. The MSI Titan 18 HX is very good for general use, while the MSI Stealth GS66 is good.
The MSI Stealth GS66 with its more modest CPU and RAM may handle daily tasks efficiently, offering a balance of portability and battery life suitable for users on the go, whereas the MSI Titan 18 HX, with a superior CPU and more RAM, provides enhanced performance and screen quality for demanding software but sacrifices portability and battery life due to its size and power consumption. In terms of storage, keyboard, and speaker quality, both are competent, but the Titan may have the edge with better heat management and operating noise due to its larger chassis, which can better accommodate cooling solutions.

The MSI Titan 18 HX is best in class for engineering and design, while the MSI Stealth GS66 is very good.
The MSI Stealth GS66, with its high-quality CPU, ample RAM, and capable GPU, ensures smooth performance for demanding engineering software, while its screen provides clarity for design work; however, the MSI Titan 18 HX, with even more powerful components and superior screen quality, offers the highest performance for complex tasks, but it is less portable and might have louder operating noise. The Stealth GS66 offers a balance with better portability and potentially quieter operation, making it a flexible option when mobility and work environment are of concern.

The MSI Titan 18 HX has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS66 for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The MSI Stealth GS66 likely boasts a high-resolution display with strong brightness, making it well-suited for general everyday tasks and detail-oriented engineering work where color accuracy matters. However, its screen might have a lower refresh rate, which can make fast-paced action in games and 3D applications less smooth. On the other hand, the MSI Titan 18 HX probably has an even higher-quality display with exceptional color coverage essential for professional design and engineering usage, but similarly, it may lack a high refresh rate necessary for optimal gaming and 3D rendering experiences.

"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
"With no new Nvidia GPU this year for laptops, MSI had to refresh everything surrounding the graphics card to make up for it. Users are getting a new 18-inch chassis design, new 14th gen Intel HX CPU, new AC adapter, larger keys, and a new 120 Hz HDR1000 mini-LED 4K display to accompany the high price tag. Most of these changes are a step up from last year's GT77, but users are ultimately getting the same gaming performance out of both models."
