The decision between the MSI Stealth GS66 and MSI Thin GF63 largely depends on your priorities and budget. The MSI Stealth GS66 offers superior performance, which is excellent for gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning tasks, but this comes at a higher price. On the other hand, the MSI Thin GF63 is more affordable and still capable of handling general use and some engineering tasks, but it may struggle with more intensive applications. Additionally, the Stealth GS66 likely has better build quality and possibly better battery life, but it may be less portable than the lighter, thinner GF63. Consider how important performance and battery life are to you against the need for portability and cost savings. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS66 is very good for engineering and design, while the MSI Thin GF63 is good.
The MSI Stealth GS66 stands out for engineering and design due to its superior GPU (Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti) and screen quality, which includes better brightness and color space coverage compared to the MSI Thin GF63. While both laptops have ample CPU and RAM for demanding tasks, the MSI Thin GF63 is lighter and hence more portable, but it sacrifices some performance with a less powerful GPU (Nvidia RTX 4050) and lower screen color quality.

The MSI Stealth GS66 has a better screen than the MSI Thin GF63 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The MSI Stealth GS66 offers high resolution and brightness, with a panel type ideal for clarity and detail in general use and engineering tasks, but its lower refresh rate compared to specialized gaming laptops makes fast-paced games less smooth. Meanwhile, the MSI Thin GF63 provides adequate resolution and brightness for everyday tasks and some engineering applications, yet it doesn't support the wider color gamuts professionals need for precise color work. For gaming and 3D, both models fall short on refresh rates, which is crucial for fluid motion and reducing screen tearing during fast action scenes.

How the MSI Stealth GS66 and the MSI Thin GF63 compare to other laptops
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
"The MSI GF63 Thin 11SC can be an admirable value for gamers and power users on a minimal budget. For just $599 as reviewed in its base model, its Intel Core i5 H-class processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics perform much better than low-wattage CPUs and integrated graphics. That said, this is a light-class gaming laptop. Low scores in our demanding gaming benchmarks indicate using lower visual-quality settings will be required for playable performance."
