The MSI Stealth GS66 is lighter and more portable than the GS77, which may be important if you often carry your laptop around. However, the GS77 offers a larger screen with a higher resolution, which is better for tasks that benefit from more screen real estate, like video editing or gaming. The GS77 also has double the storage and memory, which can significantly improve performance in memory-intensive tasks or when multitasking. In summary, if portability is key for you, the GS66 has an edge, while the GS77 excels in display quality, storage, and multitasking capability. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS77 is very good for general use, while the MSI Stealth GS66 is good.
The MSI Stealth GS66, with a balance of performance from a solid CPU and ample RAM, stands out for everyday tasks, complemented by its screen quality and easier portability due to its size and weight; however, its battery life might not last as long as some users require. The larger MSI Stealth GS77 offers a similar level of performance with a potentially better screen and a more sizable battery, making it a strong option for extended use, although it sacrifices portability, being bulkier and heavier.

The MSI Stealth GS77 and MSI Stealth GS66 are both very good for engineering and design, though the MSI Stealth GS77 is somewhat better.
The MSI Stealth GS66 excels in engineering and design use due to its capable processor and high-end GPU, along with a high refresh rate screen which is good for fluid visuals; however, it has less RAM and storage compared to the MSI Stealth GS77, which not only offers more working memory and storage capacity beneficial for large projects but also provides a larger, higher-resolution display for more detailed work. While both laptops are quite portable, the GS77's larger screen and slightly heavier build make it less portable than the smaller GS66, though the tradeoff might be worthwhile for the added screen real estate and resolution.

The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS66 for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The MSI Stealth GS66, with its good combination of resolution and panel type, provides clear and vibrant images suitable for everyday tasks and engineering work, while its average brightness ensures comfortable viewing in most indoor scenarios. For engineering and design professionals, the decent coverage of color gamuts like DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB on the GS66 allows for precise color work, although it may not satisfy the highest industry standards for color accuracy. However, the lower refresh rate hinders the gaming and 3D experience on the GS66 as it can't deliver as smooth motion rendering as a higher refresh rate display would, which is especially noticeable in fast-paced games or high-speed 3D simulations.

How the MSI Stealth GS66 and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
