The MSI Stealth 17 offers top-tier performance suitable for intensive engineering tasks, 3D rendering, and the latest gaming experiences, due to its powerful processor and high-end graphics card, but it comes with a high-end price tag and may not be as portable. Conversely, the MSI Stealth GS77 still has strong capabilities with a lesser graphics card and processor, making it more affordable. It’s also suitable for general use and some gaming, while offering a bit better battery life which can be a plus for those who prioritize portability, despite both being the same size and weight. How the MSI Stealth 17 and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"The MSI Stealth 17 Studio is a laptop with a quiet RTX 4080 for almost every occasion. The MSI Stealth 17 Studio is equally capable of high-level media processing and playing current games. It remains pleasantly quiet, even if a few percentage points of power have had to be sacrificed in the process. But, it is not quite perfect: To some extent, the Stealth 17 is well thought out. It packs tons of graphics power and high-end components in a slim case. The laptop's cooling system can be set such that, noise-wise, it doesn't even reach low volume. However, small flaws cloud otherwise exceptionally positive impressions."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
