The MSI Stealth 17 offers high performance suited for intensive engineering tasks, 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming, with a powerful main processor and GPU, a larger screen, and significantly more storage and RAM. However, it is more expensive, larger, heavier, and less portable. On the other hand, the MSI Stealth GS66 is less expensive and offers better portability due to its lighter weight and smaller size, but it comes with a less powerful processor, GPU, and less storage and RAM, which may limit its capabilities in demanding tasks. Both models have similar battery life and high-quality build but differ in screen size and performance potential. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth 17 has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS66 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The MSI Stealth 17's screen offers a high resolution and brightness, making it appealing for general use and detailed work in engineering and design due to its sharp and vibrant display, complemented by wide color gamuts that ensure accurate color reproduction. However, its lower refresh rate may not be ideal for gaming and 3D applications, where fluid motion is key. On the other hand, the MSI Stealth GS66, while also providing a good resolution and suitable brightness for everyday tasks and professional design work, falls short for gaming and 3D due to a similarly modest refresh rate that doesn't match the needs of high-frame-rate content.

How the MSI Stealth 17 and the MSI Stealth GS66 compare to other laptops
"The MSI Stealth 17 Studio is a laptop with a quiet RTX 4080 for almost every occasion. The MSI Stealth 17 Studio is equally capable of high-level media processing and playing current games. It remains pleasantly quiet, even if a few percentage points of power have had to be sacrificed in the process. But, it is not quite perfect: To some extent, the Stealth 17 is well thought out. It packs tons of graphics power and high-end components in a slim case. The laptop's cooling system can be set such that, noise-wise, it doesn't even reach low volume. However, small flaws cloud otherwise exceptionally positive impressions."
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
