The MSI Raider GE78 offers top-tier performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and other engineering tasks with its more powerful processor and graphics card, but it is less portable due to its larger size and weight, and it has shorter battery life. On the other hand, the Razer Blade 15 provides good performance for general use and some gaming at a lower price point, with better portability and longer battery life, though it has a less powerful processor and graphics card, meaning it may not handle intensive tasks as well. Consider the MSI if performance is your primary concern and the Razer if you value portability and longer battery use. Give Feedback

The MSI Raider GE78 is very good for general use, while the Razer Blade 15 is good.
The MSI Raider GE78 stands out for general use due to its higher-powered CPU and double the amount of RAM compared to the Razer Blade 15, which translates to smoother multitasking and more demanding application performance. Meanwhile, the Razer Blade 15 offers superior portability with its lighter weight and smaller size, making it a more comfortable option for on-the-go use despite slightly shorter battery life compared to the MSI Raider GE78.

The MSI Raider GE78 is best in class for gaming and AI, while the Razer Blade 15 is very good.
The MSI Raider GE78 is favored for gaming and 3D tasks chiefly due to its superior GPU and higher screen refresh rate, which are crucial for smooth, high-quality gaming visuals and performance. In contrast, the Razer Blade 15, while also excellent for these tasks, might offer a slightly less powerful GPU and a lower screen refresh rate, but it compensates with a quality CPU and good screen quality, making it a strong contender.

The MSI Raider GE78 is excellent for engineering and design, while the Razer Blade 15 is very good.
The MSI Raider GE78 stands out in engineering and design use due to its high-end Intel i9 CPU, substantial 32GB of RAM, and top-tier Nvidia RTX 4090 GPU, delivering exceptional performance even in the most demanding tasks, coupled with a high-quality large screen which aids in detailed visual work. On the other hand, the Razer Blade 15, while also equipped for engineering and design use with a capable Intel i7 CPU, 16GB of RAM, and a Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU, offers a more portable package and better speaker quality, but it doesn't quite match the raw power and screen size that make the MSI Raider GE78 particularly adept for professional CAD, 3D modeling, and simulations.

The MSI Raider GE78 has a better screen than the Razer Blade 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, both the MSI Raider GE78 and the Razer Blade 15 have screens with clear images and bright displays that make viewing text and videos enjoyable. Engineers and designers will appreciate the wide color gamuts these laptops offer, ensuring accurate colors for detailed work. However, gamers may be disappointed due to lower refresh rates, which can result in less fluid movement during fast-paced games, despite adequate resolution and panel quality.

"Performance-wise, the GE78 offers a significant boost over the GE77 for just slightly higher power consumption. You'll have to get the RTX 4080 or 4090 configurations to see the performance advantages, however, as the RTX 4070 is closer in performance to the older RTX 3080 Ti. In terms of design, some users might prefer the 16:9 minimalistic look of the older GE77 over the 16:10 retro-inspired GE78 and vice versa. We wouldn't call one better than the other in terms of aesthetics, but we'll give the edge to the GE78 for its stronger hinges and larger keys and clickpad."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
