The MSI Raider GE78 is typically less expensive than the MSI Stealth 17, and it offers similar storage and display capabilities with a large screen and high refresh rate, ideal for immersive gaming and engineering tasks. The Raider GE78 has a robust processor but is heavier and thicker, making it less portable than the Stealth 17, which is sleeker and lighter. The Stealth 17 has more RAM for demanding applications and multitasking, and it includes additional features like a fingerprint reader and facial recognition for added security. Both laptops have similar battery life, but the Raider GE78 has a numerical keypad and possibly better heat management for intense operations. If you need stronger multitasking and security features in a more portable design, consider the Stealth 17; if you favor gaming performance with cost savings, the Raider GE78 is suitable. How the MSI Raider GE78 and the MSI Stealth 17 compare to other laptops
"Performance-wise, the GE78 offers a significant boost over the GE77 for just slightly higher power consumption. You'll have to get the RTX 4080 or 4090 configurations to see the performance advantages, however, as the RTX 4070 is closer in performance to the older RTX 3080 Ti. In terms of design, some users might prefer the 16:9 minimalistic look of the older GE77 over the 16:10 retro-inspired GE78 and vice versa. We wouldn't call one better than the other in terms of aesthetics, but we'll give the edge to the GE78 for its stronger hinges and larger keys and clickpad."
"The MSI Stealth 17 Studio is a laptop with a quiet RTX 4080 for almost every occasion. The MSI Stealth 17 Studio is equally capable of high-level media processing and playing current games. It remains pleasantly quiet, even if a few percentage points of power have had to be sacrificed in the process. But, it is not quite perfect: To some extent, the Stealth 17 is well thought out. It packs tons of graphics power and high-end components in a slim case. The laptop's cooling system can be set such that, noise-wise, it doesn't even reach low volume. However, small flaws cloud otherwise exceptionally positive impressions."
