When deciding between the MSI Raider GE77Hx and the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s, consider the following: The MSI Raider GE77Hx is typically much more expensive, has a larger screen, powerful graphics card, and a high-performance processor suitable for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, and engineering tasks. However, it has a significantly shorter battery life and is heavier, making it less portable. On the other hand, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s is much less expensive, lighter, has a higher portability score, and a longer battery life, but it has a smaller screen and is not designed for tasks that require a powerful GPU, such as advanced gaming or 3D rendering. Choose the MSI for performance-related tasks and gaming, and the Lenovo for general use and portability. Give Feedback

The MSI Raider GE77Hx is very good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s is only fair.
The MSI Raider GE77Hx is excellent for gaming and 3D applications because it is equipped with a high-end Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics card and boasts a high screen refresh rate of 240 Hz, which delivers smooth visuals during fast-paced scenes. In contrast, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s offers fair performance in gaming and 3D as it is built with an integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU and a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz, which is sufficient for basic needs but may not handle intense graphics as effectively.

The MSI Raider GE77Hx has a better screen than the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The MSI Raider GE77Hx boasts a high-resolution display and commendable brightness, making it excellent for general use and professional work that requires precise color representation, such as in engineering and design tasks. However, its lower refresh rate compared to models geared specifically toward gaming makes it less suitable for fast-paced 3D games, where fluid motion is paramount. On the other hand, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s, with its respectable resolution and adequate brightness, delivers a pleasant experience for both daily tasks and color-sensitive work but suffers from the same disadvantage in gaming due to a refresh rate that doesn't cater to the demands of high-frame-rate 3D gaming.

How the MSI Raider GE77Hx and the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s compare to other laptops
"The MSI Raider GE77 offers a lot of power for a lot of money. The main components consist of a Core i9-12900HX CPU, a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU (175 watts TGP, 16 GB VRAM), and 64 GB of RAM, which makes for a high overall performance level. The GeForce GPU in particular scores some of the highest scores we have seen from this chip. Both the CPU and the GPU are able to run at continuously high clock speeds. The relatively high heat and noise emissions match our expectations for this device class. With approximately 5.5 to 6.5 hours, the battery life is good for a powerful 4K laptop."
"The best thing about the ThinkBook 13S is that it’s a good deal. Business buyers looking for ThinkPad-level performance and software without ThinkPad pricing will probably find the ThinkBook a solid option. While nothing about it is really spectacular, it’s certainly unusual to see the ThinkBook’s screen resolution at a sub-$1,000 price, and its performance will be more than adequate for most office tasks. The generous port selection, 16:10 aspect ratio, physical webcam shutter, and clear audio are certainly icing on the cake."
