The MSI Raider GE77Hx is more expensive but excels in gaming and intensive engineering tasks due to its powerful graphics card and high refresh rate screen, though it has a shorter battery life and is heavier which makes it less portable. The MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo is more affordable, lighter with longer battery life, and has a touchscreen with a high-resolution display making it more suitable for general use and productivity, but it lacks the advanced graphics capabilities for high-end gaming or demanding 3D rendering and machine learning tasks. The MSI Raider GE77Hx is very good for gaming and AI, while the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo is only fair.
The MSI Raider GE77Hx excels in gaming and 3D applications thanks to its powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics card and a high screen refresh rate of 240Hz, which provides smooth visuals and can handle graphically intensive tasks. In contrast, the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo, while still capable, offers modest gaming and 3D performance due to its integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics and a standard screen refresh rate of 60Hz, making it less suited for fast-paced, graphics-heavy content.

The MSI Raider GE77Hx is very good for engineering and design, while the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo is good.
The MSI Raider GE77Hx is favored for engineering and design because it has a robust CPU, plenty of RAM, a high-end GPU, and a high-quality screen which are ideal for demanding tasks, but it is less portable and may have more operating noise. On the other hand, the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo, while still providing ample CPU and RAM for engineering tasks, prioritizes portability and versatility with its convertible design, though it has an integrated GPU that may limit performance in graphics-intensive applications.

How the MSI Raider GE77Hx and the MSI Summit E14 Flip Evo compare to other laptops
"The MSI Raider GE77 offers a lot of power for a lot of money. The main components consist of a Core i9-12900HX CPU, a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU (175 watts TGP, 16 GB VRAM), and 64 GB of RAM, which makes for a high overall performance level. The GeForce GPU in particular scores some of the highest scores we have seen from this chip. Both the CPU and the GPU are able to run at continuously high clock speeds. The relatively high heat and noise emissions match our expectations for this device class. With approximately 5.5 to 6.5 hours, the battery life is good for a powerful 4K laptop."
"The MSI Summit E14 Flip convertible review: a legit alternative to HP, Dell or Lenovo. Instead of taking the 13-inch Summit E13 Flip and simply enlarging it for a 14-inch form factor, the Summit E14 Flip is the full chassis redesign we've been looking for. It loses some of the golden trims of its smaller sibling, but the gains in rigidity and build quality are arguably worth it especially from a professional standpoint where reliability takes priority. It doesn't quite feel as strong as the HP Spectre just yet, but it's certainly getting close."
