The MSI Raider GE76 is more expensive and offers better graphics performance with its Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti, making it well-suited for intensive gaming and high-demand engineering work. On the other hand, the MSI Stealth GS77 is less costly and lighter, contributing to better portability. Both have similar storage, RAM, and battery capacity; however, if budget constraints are less of a concern and peak performance is crucial, choose the Raider GE76, but if you prioritize portability and cost-saving without substantial performance loss, the Stealth GS77 is preferable. The MSI Raider GE76 has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS77 for general use, and gaming and AI.
The MSI Raider GE76 and Stealth GS77 likely have high resolution and brightness paired with panels that render colors accurately, which is why they excel for general use and engineering tasks where details and correct color representation are crucial. Their strong performance in engineering and design suggests they cover a wide color gamut, ensuring professional-level color fidelity necessary for precision work. However, their poor performance for gaming and 3D applications could be due to lower refresh rates, which are essential for smooth motion rendering and a more immersive experience in fast-paced visual environments.

How the MSI Raider GE76 and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"The MSI Raider GE76: with Alder Lake and RTX 3080 Ti to gaming heaven. Yes, MSI could improve some aspects (like the quality of the webcam), but the manufacturer offers a very convincing and balanced overall package. The biggest advantage is definitely the immense performance potential. The combination of Core i9-12900HK, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, 32 GB DDR5 RAM and two NVMe SSDs offers a lot of performance for the next couple of years and plenty of power for 3D applications. Most titles would run smoothly on an external 4K screen no matter the quality preset. We came away impressed with the integrated 360 Hz panel's fast response times and good color accuracy."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
