The MSI Prestige 15 is less expensive and more lightweight, making it more portable and suitable for general use and business tasks, with decent performance for less demanding engineering software or occasional gaming. The MSI Stealth GS77, however, offers significantly better performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and intensive engineering tasks, but it's heavier and at a premium price point, impacting its portability. Consider the Stealth GS77 if high-end graphics, faster processing, and larger, higher resolution display are critical for your needs; otherwise, the Prestige 15 provides a balanced option for everyday productivity at a lower cost. The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the MSI Prestige 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The MSI Prestige 15's screen offers clear resolution and bright imagery, making it suitable for everyday tasks and professional design work by accurately displaying a wide range of colors. The MSI Stealth GS77 also provides a vibrant and sharp display, with the added benefit of covering a broader color spectrum, which is essential for tasks that require color precision in engineering and design. However, both models lack the high refresh rates sought by gamers and professionals working with 3D graphics, which can lead to less smooth visuals in fast-moving scenes and renderings.

"The MSI Prestige 15 offers a dazzling 4K image quality, and solid performance. The MSI Prestige 15 appears to consistently implement the guiding principle of throttling the solid and efficient hardware to such an extent that content creation succeeds perfectly. Performance-hungry tasks, on the other hand, are slowed down a little by the reduced power consumption. Conversely, this means that the case remains relatively cool and the dual fan subdued. The battery life also benefits somewhat. So the losses aren't really dramatic because full performance is still available for short bursts."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
