Choosing between the MSI Prestige 14 and the MSI Thin GF63, if you prioritize a lighter, more portable device and are satisfied with integrated graphics, the MSI Prestige 14 is suitable, ideal for business productivity tasks. However, if you need a laptop with more potent graphics for gaming or creative work, the MSI Thin GF63 has a dedicated Nvidia graphics card and is designed to handle more graphics-intensive tasks, though it is less portable due to its larger size and heavier weight. Both have a similar memory and storage configuration, but the Thin GF63's higher refresh rate display offers smoother visuals, beneficial for gaming.

The MSI Thin GF63 and MSI Prestige 14 are both only fair for gaming and AI, though the MSI Thin GF63 is somewhat better.
The MSI Thin GF63 is considered good for gaming and 3D due to its more powerful Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics card and higher screen refresh rate, which provides smoother visuals in fast-paced games. In contrast, the MSI Prestige 14 is fair for such tasks because its integrated Intel i5-1240P Iris Xe graphics are less capable, and its screen has a standard refresh rate which is less suitable for high-speed gaming scenarios.

How the MSI Prestige 14 and the MSI Thin GF63 compare to other laptops
"The MSI Prestige 14” is excellent for productivity and business use cases, but it is not ideal for creators or visual content editors. The Prestige was able to power through days of email, spreadsheets, and text documents without breaking a sweat and was a joy to use. The additional ports were a breath of fresh air, as most laptops seem to be moving towards just Thunderbolt ports. The security options made signing in effortless, with two quick, more secure, and faster options than even the most complex alphanumeric passcode."
"The MSI GF63 Thin 11SC can be an admirable value for gamers and power users on a minimal budget. For just $599 as reviewed in its base model, its Intel Core i5 H-class processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics perform much better than low-wattage CPUs and integrated graphics. That said, this is a light-class gaming laptop. Low scores in our demanding gaming benchmarks indicate using lower visual-quality settings will be required for playable performance."
