The MSI Modern 14 is significantly less expensive and more portable than the MSI Raider GE66, while still offering a solid performance for general use. It's lighter, has a long battery life, and is suitable for tasks like office work, web browsing, and casual media consumption. However, if you need a laptop for more demanding tasks like intensive gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning, the MSI Raider GE66 is a better choice despite its higher price. It has a more powerful processor and graphics card, more memory and storage, a higher resolution and refresh rate display, which is excellent for fast motion and color-critical work. Its performance is superior for engineering applications, but note that it's heavier, which may limit its portability. Give Feedback

The MSI Raider GE66 has a better screen than the MSI Modern 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The MSI Modern 14's screen, suitable for everyday tasks, may lack the high resolution, brightness, and advanced panel technology that would make it stand out for crisp and vibrant displays needed in general use. While its color accuracy suffices for non-professional engineering and design work, it lacks the wide color gamuts crucial for professionals in these fields. For gaming and 3D rendering, the screen's low refresh rate can lead to less fluid motion and slower response times, making it less ideal compared to displays optimized for these activities.

"The MSI Modern 14 is okay for school use. It's very compact, so it's easy to carry around. It has a sharp display, a spacious keyboard, and a reasonably large touchpad. Its Intel 13th Gen CPU and integrated graphics can handle general productivity tasks like text processing and web browsing; however, don't expect to do anything intensive like 3D modeling or physics simulations. Unfortunately, the battery lasts less than five hours of light use, and the display doesn't get bright enough to combat glare."
"The MSI Raider GE66 12UHS notebook passes with flying colors. The GE66 is a high-end notebook with strong performance. The keyboard and trackpad are still very good and score well with precise inputs as well as high build quality. Thanks to a new liquid metal cooling solution, the Intel Core i9 12900HK brings a performance increase of around 50 percent over the predecessor's Intel Core i9 10980HK. The installed graphics card in our device delivers up to 30 percent higher frame rates than the RTX 2070 Super in the MSI GE66 10SFS."
