When choosing between the MSI Katana 15 and the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360, consider your main use cases. The MSI Katana, being more expensive, offers a dedicated graphics card which is better for gaming, 3D rendering, and intensive engineering software. Despite its lower price, the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 features a touchscreen OLED display which provides vibrant colors and can be used as a tablet, making it great for general use and media consumption. The Samsung has a lighter and thinner design, enhancing portability, while MSI's thicker build is more suited to desk-based use given its powerful internals. The Samsung also promises longer battery life, which is beneficial if you're on the go often. Give Feedback

The Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 has a better screen than the MSI Katana 15 for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 boasts a vibrant, high-resolution display with excellent brightness, making it well-suited for general tasks where clarity and visibility are essential. For engineering and design, the Samsung's color accuracy covers a wide range of color gamuts, allowing for precise and detailed work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops fall short due to lower refresh rates, which can lead to less fluid motion and slower response times, with panel type and resolution also playing a role but being less critical.

How the MSI Katana 15 and the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 compare to other laptops
"The MSI Katana 15 B12 combines a Gen12 CPU with an RTX 4050, which is actually not a bad idea for a budget gamer. The CPU is anything but bad and the GPU in the Katana 15 proves to be significantly more efficient than last year's models. However, our main point of criticism for budget gamers is the price: while you can get budget laptops with RTX 3060 from around US$800, you pay a whole US$1,499.99 here! The efficiency advantages of the RTX 4050 do not justify this price premium."
"The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 360 isn’t a laptop that the Korean manufacturer has shouted from the rooftops about, and it seems to have gotten little attention from anywhere. But, it is absolutely a laptop worth paying attention to. Compared to higher-priced devices, like the Dell XPS 13 (2022) and Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED (2023), it manages to offer a similar day-to-day experience despite the price difference. It’s really hard to justify the extra cash unless a boosted display is a requirement of yours."
