If portability and battery life are priorities for you, especially if you need a versatile machine for general use that can easily transition into a tablet for note-taking or presentations, consider the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 as it is lighter, has a longer battery life, and a touchscreen. However, if gaming or 3D rendering tasks are more common for you, and you require more advanced graphics capabilities, the MSI GF65 Thin has a powerful GPU that would better serve those needs, though with a compromise on battery life and portability. Both have similar storage and high-quality displays, but the MSI focuses on gaming performance while the Samsung provides flexibility and efficiency for everyday productivity with an OLED screen. The Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 is good for engineering and design, while the MSI GF65 Thin is only fair.
The MSI GF65 Thin with its dedicated Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU is more suited for graphically demanding engineering tasks, yet its thicker build and shorter battery life affect portability compared to the sleeker Galaxy Book3 360. The Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 offers a superior OLED touchscreen and longer battery life, with a more recent CPU and more RAM, geared towards seamless multitasking in design applications, but it might lack the graphical power for more intensive 3D engineering software.

The Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 has a better screen than the MSI GF65 Thin for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360's superior resolution and brightness offer a clearer and more vibrant viewing experience, while the MSI GF65 Thin's display may look less sharp and less vivid. When considering engineering and design, the Galaxy Book3 360's wider color gamut ensures more accurate color representation, essential for precise design work, which the MSI GF65 Thin cannot match. However, for gaming and 3D tasks, the MSI's lower refresh rate makes for less fluid motion and a less immersive experience compared to displays with higher refresh rates, even though it may not be as critical for other types of tasks.

How the MSI GF65 Thin and the Samsung Galaxy Book3 360 compare to other laptops
"The MSI GF65 Thin offers a GeForce RTX 3060 on a budget. The MSI GF65 is a relatively inexpensive RTX 3060 laptop and, perhaps not coincidentally, it also comes with a slower-than-average RTX 3060 GPU. Other laptops we've tested thus far with the same GPU are about 10 to 15 percent faster. CPU performance is also slightly slower than average unless if users decide to enable Cooler Boost mode. Colors, black-white response times, Thunderbolt, and DisplayPort are either average or completely omitted. Gamers who want to maximize performance-per-dollar without sacrificing RAM or SSD upgradeability will find the lightweight MSI GF65 attractive."
"The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 360 isn’t a laptop that the Korean manufacturer has shouted from the rooftops about, and it seems to have gotten little attention from anywhere. But, it is absolutely a laptop worth paying attention to. Compared to higher-priced devices, like the Dell XPS 13 (2022) and Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED (2023), it manages to offer a similar day-to-day experience despite the price difference. It’s really hard to justify the extra cash unless a boosted display is a requirement of yours."
